I’m so disgusted with the executive and legislative branches of our government, that includes both parties. In fact I don’t see many differences between either of them. We, the American Public, have to step up to the plate and take responsiblity for this mess since we’ve elected them.

First I have to say, on one hand you hear the President saying we have to be competitive on the global market. Yes, we do, agreed on this point. Next he says, hey lets hire some science and math teachers — to help our children. Hmm, another good idea in theory. But hey, wait a minute, we’re going to raise the interest rate on students loans, we’re going to make it more expensive for our middle class to get an education. And oh BTW, since we don’t have enough engineers and scientists, lets get those foreigners in here to take the jobs we’re not willing to train our citizens for! SIGH — Who’s running this ship? Let’s see — lobbyists, special interest groups, and oh yea foreign goverment lobbyists.

People, lets wake up — lets stop worrying about things like who f*cks who — lets figure out how to give our children opportunities because as a country we’ve become complacent and greedy. We seem to care more about what is happening in the movies or better yet the people acting in the movies than we do about “REAL” life.

Oh yea, Bush’s idea on alternative fuels — he’s about 5 years too late. But I guess its better late than never!
