I was recently checking the stats for my blog, woo hoo up to over 200 people a day reading my rants. :) But moving on, I saw quite a few referrers from a site called, Live and Let, setup by Marc in Cologne, Germany. So I surfed over to see what was going on — I found Marc had kindly listed my blog on the main page for the site. It was very nice to see the recognition and as I was browsing I realized how small the world has really become because not only did we have connections through the use of CUSeeMe but he also uses PostNuke to publish the site for the CUSeeMe stuff. Note, I’m on the board for the PostNuke Software Foundation, in addition, I have visited the wonderful city Marc lives in — Cologne, Germany and have actually hiked up the 500+ stairs to the tower on the cathedral that is being shown on his main page. So again, it is such a small world and getting smaller everyday.

So having seen this I’ve again downloaded the CUSeeMe application and will be exploring its use again — :)

Thanks Marc — for reminding me of my roots. And I will start blogging about some of the ‘good ol’ days here since there were so many. I mean it was a real insightful, eye opening experience to have been involved with the movement from the early days, i.e, starting 1995 for me. I made so many friends, actually fell in love, and still keep in touch with a couple of people I met online — truly amazing and I have so many great stories that shouldn’t be lost or kept only in my head. (LOL)

So stayed tuned for more updates and cu stories.
