Is it me or did anyone else feel Congress woman, Cynthia McKinney’s apology was insincere? It sounded like the apology you hear from a child who’s been forced to apologize for something they’ve done to their sibling. You know the apology where the parents march the sister/brother to their siblings room and say, “now what to you have to say to your sister/brother?” And out comes the apology in an unfeeling, in a tone, you know the tone, “I’m sorrrry.” But with no feeling or meaning — this is exactly what I heard when listening to Ms. Cynthia McKinney’s apology — reality is she didn’t want to apologize — she only did it because the other, black, members of Congress said, “do it, or else.” Then they all marched in front of the TV cameras and she spit out the words she really didn’t mean but knew she had to say.
My thought, she still feels the same way, she is just sorry no one is going along with her. She’s sorry she could be indicted for assulting a police officer. She isn’t sorry. I’m amazed at her level of inmaturity. My advice, grow up Ms. McKinney, do your job and stop whining.
