Over the past few weeks I’ve been dialed out of the news cycle. I’ve been thinking about work, family, and the future, exactly what most of us have been focused on because of the holiday. But last night when I couldn’t sleep and nothing was on TV except info commercials I watched CSPAN where Brigitte Gabriel was speaking to a small group in Washington. I was surprised, appalled, and called to action after listening to her speak. This is no longer a Middle East issue, this is not something if we don’t think about will go away. We are in a battle for our very survival — this problem will not be negotiated away. And if hasn’t happened overnight. Please educate yourself, draw your own conclusions, but WAKE UP. This is not a movie, you don’t have an opportunity to do it over if it doesn’t work out the way you want.

This is a complex issue and oil is intertwined into this issue so educating yourself on conservation is one step you can take to fight the war on terror! Taking back our independence as a country from the oil rich radical muslim countries should be the TOP OF OUR LIST.

This isn’t the first time we’ve had to confront this kind of evil in the world. We can do this and if you don’t then I worry about the world our grandchildren will inherit.
