I can’t believe I’m starting this post over, I wrote some interesting stuff but don’t know if I’ll get it all written up again. Damn the computer not saving my post before the browser crashed! :\ I guess I’ll have to start saving my posts as I go along so this doesn’t happen again.
This year is major, I’m ready, I’m really ready to find a life partner — but then again — maybe I’m too selfish, I like my single life. But then again, seeing my parents and their love for one another has given me hope that you don’t have to loose yourself in a relationship, loving someone but both of you can have your own life independent of one another yet sharing the moments of life. Don’t get me wrong, intellectually I knew that before but seeing my parents love and commitment to one another renewed my hope that it’s possible! Although, it won’t be easy I’m up for the challenge! I’m giving notice to the universe — I’m ready!
Wow, its nice to be home, to have my stuff — but after being gone for 7 weeks made me realize I have too much stuff! Stuff I really don’t need, things that just clutter up my space. Things I don’t use, need or want — but getting rid of it — thats easier said than done but I’m determined. So its time.
Hey — who eats breakfast? When I was home, we ate breakfast everyday — there was only one day we missed it. The day my mom went into the hospital because we had to be there at 5am so there was no time to eat. Breakfast is a good thing and I should do it more often. I tried to carry on the tradition when I got home but it just isn’t the same when you have to cook it for yourself, in LA my dad cooked it — always tastes better when someone else cooks.
What am I doing? Sitting watching/listening to my flat screen TV — hmmm — listening — yes, the Hottest Hits music channel is playing while I’m writing this post. And I finally mounted the TV over the fireplace! I love it. Its opened up floor space in the room and although I thought it might be awkward looking up at it, it isn’t bad.
Tomorrow is an extra day in the year — what are you going to do? I’m going to do something special for myself! I deserve it!
Do something special for yourself too.
Here’s one of many photos I took while I was there:
